STPS30H100CT Description

    A host reads, programs, or checks the status of the bq2022 through the hierarchical command structure of the SDQ interface. Figure 2 shows that the host must first issue a ROM command before the EPROM memory or status can be read or modified. The ROM command either selects a specific device when multiple devices are on the SDQ bus, or skips the selection process in single SDQ device applications.

STPS30H100CT Features

    The STPS30H100CT has CMOS standby mode which re- duces the maximum VCC current to 10mA. It is placed in CMOS standby when CE is at V CC 0.3V. The STPS30H100CT also has a TTL-standby mode which re- duces the maximum VCC current to 1.0mA. It is placed in TTL-standby when CE is at VIH. When in standby mode, the outputs are in a high-impedance state, independent of the OE input.

    Note 11 Two on-chip diodes are tied to each analog input They will forward-conduct for analog input voltages one diode drop below ground or one diode drop greater than VCC supply Be careful during testing at low VCC levels (4 5V) as high level analog inputs (5V) can cause an input diode to conduct especially at elevated temperatures which will cause errors for analog inputs near full-scale The spec allows 50 mV forward bias of either diode this means that as long as the analog VIN does not exceed the supply voltage by more than 50 mV the output code will be correct Exceeding this range on an unselected channel will corrupt the reading of a selected channel To achieve an absolute 0 VDC to 5 VDC input voltage range will therefore require a minimum supply voltage of 4 950 VDC over temperature variations initial tolerance and loading
